Every year Verplanck Elementary School offers a story hour orientation program for children eligible for kindergarten in September 2010. Incoming kindergarteners and their families are invited to listen to stories read by teachers from our school and complete an activity related to the story. In March, the children will have an opportunity to tour the school building with a staff member. The program is held once a month from January to May. Below is a list of dates and times to attend. Please feel free to attend as many sessions as possible. It is a great opportunity for your family to become familiar with Verplanck Elementary School and have some fun, too.
